CLASS OF 1972

The Irving High School Class of 1972 (first class to graduate at the Texas Stadium) welcomes you to our website. This is the premier destination for all our classmates at least until December 21, 2012. It's up to the class if this site is to go on indefinitely.

We also have a companion Facebook group which includes reunion committee announcements and interesting, entertaining dialogue. To access and join this page, just type in "Irving High School 1972 Class Reunion" in the Facebook search box or click on the above link and you'll be directed there.

Click on "Classmate Profiles" in the top menu, find your name, provide your password and create your profile. If you went to school with us (graduated or not) and are not on the list, please let us know so we can add your name.

If you know the details of a deceased classmate, please let us know. For our memorial page to be as accurate and thorough as possible, we will need to know dates, causes and any information you have available to you.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

•		Our next reunion committee meeting will be June 2nd at 11:00 a.m. We will be meeting at: The Mecca Restaurant 10422 Harry Hines Blvd. Dallas, TX 75220 214-352-0051 We have a reservation under either Linda Mauldin or IHS Reunion. I will get there a little early to make sure everyone gets to the correct room upstairs. They are right outside of Irving on Harry Hines (between Northwest Highway and Webbs Chapel - closer to NW Highway) Their website is: www.themeccarestaurant.com Come on out and join us - we have a great time working and playing!!! See you there!!
•		Irving High School Class of 1972 is proud to announce the Grand Opening of our new Online Store, Golden Ticket Sales, and Donation Link. In our store you can get the latest and greatest Class Reunion apparel. “Grandma and grandpa went to their Fortieth Irving High School Class Reunion and all they brought me was this REALLY COOL Tiger T-shirt!” Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
•		Liz Upchurch Whale announces: I just wanted to let everyone know that a group of people from Irving meet at the El Fenix by Irving Mall upstairs every first Saturday of the month. It is year round. A lot of graduates from IHS are there so if you get a chance to drop by you really should. It begins around 1:00 PM and usually lasts until 4:00 PM or so. Lots of good times!
•		The golf and pancake breakfast surveys are up and running. Have fun voting!!! Linda
•		I just wanted to let everyone know that we will have a Worship Service on Sunday morning to close out the Reunion. Hopefully we can have it around 9:30 AM. Mario Parga will be leading us in Praise and Worship and I will be bringing a message from the Word of God. If you would like to be a part of the Worship Service let me know. We need someone to Read Scripture, sing a special, etc. We want to make this a very worshipful experience. We want everyone to plan to stay until the service is over and we can say goodbye gathering together with the Lord. Let me hear from you. Larry Combs

•		Back to the Basics Ministries - Dr. Larry A. Combs If you need spiritual encouragement then I want to invite you to my blog: Back to the Basics Ministries. It is a fairly new blog so I am trying to do something daily. You will find devotions, Bible Studies, and Sermons. You may send me Bible questions and I will try to answer them for you. During my 35 years of pastoring I would have a time called "Pastor in the Lion's Den" where the people would write out a question at the start of the service and they would be collected and I would randomly pick a question and answer it. I have never acknowledged that I have ALL the answers but I will search and give the best answer that I believe the Scripture teaches. So use my email to ask your question and I will post the question and the answer on my blog.
